Strawberry Puffcakes



Strawberry Puffcakes are cupcakes that are light and fluffy and taste like fresh strawberries, which are sweet and sour. They are wonderful as a dessert or as a sweet treat at any time of the day.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions:

Start by heating the oven to 350F 175C

Put the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl and mix them together

Melt the butter and add the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract to another bowl

Whisk the ingredients together

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ones and mix them together just until they are mixed

The diced strawberries should be added slowly

Put cupcake liners in a muffin tin and fill each cup about two thirds of the way to the top with batter

Puffcakes should be baked in a hot oven for 18 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean

From the oven, take them out and let them cool in the pan for a few minutes

Then, move them to a wire rack to cool completely

Sprinkle powdered sugar on top after they have cooled
